New Beginnings

I’m excited to share that a new chapter has begun in my life! After many years of teaching high school English, I’ve transitioned into working full time managing our family business, writing, and diving deeper into ministry. It’s been a journey filled with prayer, growth, and trusting God’s direction.

While leaving the classroom wasn’t easy, I feel incredibly blessed to step into this season where I can focus on my passions and purpose. Writing has always been a way for me to connect with others and share my heart, and now, I have the opportunity to do that every day. Ministry has always been close to my heart, and I’m beyond grateful to be serving in this capacity full time with The River Church’s Youth.

To my former students, colleagues, and administration who have been part of my teaching journey—thank you for the lessons, memories, and encouragement along the way. You’ve shaped me in ways I will always cherish.

I want to express how appreciative I am for this new season and the blessings that have come with it. I’m excited for what God has in store, and I can’t wait to continue growing, learning, and sharing this journey with all of you.

I am an English teacher, mother, and wife, but I love to write. I feel that I am blessed to be able to use my talent to write about my children's books, poems, short fiction, and parenting. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about my experiences with beginning a writing career while focusing on my children and my job. I look forward to comments and to hear from my readers!
