📷Recreating Bailey’s Childhood Photos📷
by Jennifer Greene-Sullivan
This past weekend, my husband Chris and I had the incredible opportunity to recreate some cherished memories from Bailey’s childhood. 📸 Our talented photographer, Nikki Purser, met us in the hay field to capture the essence of a photo shoot Chris did when Bailey was just six years old.
🚜As I watched Chris move hay bales and farm equipment around to set up the perfect shot, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for his dedication not only as a husband but also as a father. ❤️ Every kid should have a dad who goes the extra mile to recreate those magical moments, and Chris certainly exemplifies that spirit.

What really made me smile was the moment during the shoot when Chris wasn’t satisfied with the angle of one of the hay bales. 👩🌾Without missing a beat, he moved it into the perfect position while Bailey sat perched atop the bale, laughing and enjoying the moment.
Balancing a busy life as a business owner and farmer during the harvest season of peanuts and cotton, Chris still manages to make time for our family. He even attends Liam’s rec ball games, showing support and love to our kids no matter how hectic life gets.

The photo above is a testament to those wonderful moments we share as a family, even in the midst of hard work.🚜👨👧
As we captured these new photos, I was reminded of how quickly time flies. It feels like just yesterday when Bailey was that little girl, full of wonder and joy. Now, at 18, she’s blossoming into a young woman, yet we can still see glimpses of that sweet girl in her. 🌟

This weekend reminded me of the importance of preserving memories and cherishing the time we have together as a family. It’s moments like these that create lasting bonds and traditions that we will carry with us forever.
As our photographer finished taking the last pictures of Liam’s session in the dug peanuts while he stood beside the pivot, I hugged my husband tight, and he said to me, “We’re making memories.”
I replied, “Oh, is that what we are doing?”
He smiled and answered, “Oh, yeah, we are making memories that will outlive both of us.”
