👜 Introducing Esmerelda’s Newest Story🐩

Some stories come from a burst of inspiration. Others unfold gently over time—waiting for just the right season to bloom. That’s how The Pink Poodle Pocketbook came to life. 💕
This sweet story was actually the second title I ever imagined for Esmerelda, but it’s become the fourth book in her growing series. While Esmerelda usually brings sunshine, giggles, and quirky adventures, this book carries a little more heartache… and a whole lot of heart. 💗
When my daughter Anya was a baby (she’s now 24! 🥹), I wrote Esmerelda’s Surprise. At that time, I already knew what the next story would be. Anya’s favorite toy as a toddler was a soft, pink poodle pocketbook—plump and silly, and so loved. That sweet toy became the spark behind this story’s title, even though it took years for the story itself to grow roots and bloom.
In The Pink Poodle Pocketbook, Esmerelda learns what it really means to give with love. 💝 When her best friend Kasey confides in her that her parents are going through a divorce, Esmerelda wants to help but doesn’t know how—until she remembers her most treasured gift: the pink poodle pocketbook her grandmother gave her. 👵🐩

That little pink bag holds Esmerelda’s favorite treasures, memories, and comfort. However, when she realizes her friend Kasey needs it more, she makes a decision that changes both of them: she gives it away. 🫶
Kasey begins using the pocketbook to carry her favorite things back and forth between her mom’s and dad’s homes—a small but meaningful anchor in a season of big change. 🏠💔🏠
This book is a gentle, grace-filled look at:
