So, Friday I sent an email to my illustrator, Joshua Wichterich. He has agreed and has sent a contract for illustrating the first book in my Festus Series. Festus is a Jack Russell pup who lives a charmed, farm life. I always feel like a kid on Christmas morning when I send one of my books off to the illustrator.
I feel even more excited when I get a sketch, sneak peek, or final file. My series about Festus is written on a higher reading level than my previously published books, yet it will be great for a beginning reader to learn new advanced vocabulary. Here is to a new venture and a new series!!
