Anya’s Journey to The Ramp: Stepping into God’s Calling ✨

This August, our oldest daughter, Anya, made the life-changing decision to move from our hometown of Roddy, Georgia, to Hamilton, Alabama, to begin her first semester at The Ramp School of Ministry 🌟. It’s been a monumental shift for her as she steps into her God-given purpose, and as a mom, I couldn’t be prouder to see her pursuing her calling.

Why The Ramp? 🙏

Founded by Karen Wheaton, The Ramp has been stirring up revival in Hamilton, Alabama, since 1998. What started as a mission to awaken a generation has grown into a global ministry 🌍. The Ramp’s vision is simple: awaken, equip, and send believers into the world, and that is exactly what Anya has stepped into this semester.

The Ramp School of Ministry (RSM) is not your typical university 🎓. It’s a training ground for young believers who are serious about deepening their faith and walking in the power of God. With a strong focus on theological studies, practical ministry, and spiritual growth, the students are immersed in daily worship and discipleship 🙌. RSM’s mission is clear—to equip students to influence the world for Christ and awaken others to their purpose.

Anya’s New Chapter ✨

On August 13, 2024, Anya left our small town in Roddy, Georgia 🚗, and drove to Hamilton to start this new chapter of her life. Moving from the familiar to the unknown is a huge step, especially for someone like Anya, who has always been deeply rooted in our community 🌱. But God’s calling was clear, and her heart was set on experiencing all that The Ramp had to offer.

Since arriving, Anya has been part of a community that lives out its mission to seek God wholeheartedly 🙏. Through worship, prayer, and hands-on ministry training, she’s learning to cultivate a deeper relationship with God and is building strong friendships with like-minded believers 🤝 who are passionate about seeing God move in their generation.

Living in God’s Presence ✨

The Ramp is all about creating space for God’s presence 🌿, and this is what excites me most for Anya. Whether it’s attending a worship service 🎶, participating in prayer rooms 🙏, or receiving practical ministry training, she’s being saturated in the Presence of God. The heartbeat of The Ramp is seeing young men and women set on fire 🔥 for God, ready to carry His presence into every sphere of influence.

Looking Ahead 👀

As Anya embarks on this new journey 🚀, I am reminded of how important it is to trust in God’s timing and purpose⏳. This is just the beginning for her, and I am so excited to see how God will use her time at The Ramp to mold her into a powerful leader for His kingdom. From Roddy, Georgia, to Hamilton, Alabama, Anya is living proof that when you step into God’s calling, the possibilities are endless ✨.
