Being in Love with Jesus Hits Different

by Jennifer Greene-Sullivan

Salvation is not the end of the story—it’s only the introduction. It’s the opening page of the book God has written for your life. It’s the beginning of victory, deliverance, and all things made new.

When you lay down your idols and pick up your cross—when you truly and unequivocally follow Jesus—the Holy Spirit seals you, and the blood of Jesus covers the sin that once separated you from the Father. The new man on the inside of you should leap for joy!

Awe That Transforms

To be in total awe and total love with Jesus changes everything! There are no questions that He cannot answer. There is no other god before Him. There is nothing else but JESUS.

The joy of the Lord and the fulfillment of His promises radically renews your mind, softens your heart, opens your eyes, settles your spirit, sanctifies your soul, and sets you free. Thank you, Jesus!

This freedom doesn’t come from your own strength—it comes by grace through faith. And the blood of the Lamb never leaves you the way it found you.

Alive by the Word

Brother, Sister—the Word of God is alive. In these days, you can no more live without it than you can live without the very breath He puts in your lungs.

Ask yourself:

  • Am I in love with Jesus today?
  • Am I in awe of Him?
  • Am I learning from the Holy Spirit?
  • Am I reconciled to the Father?

If the systems of man are your only answer, you have not yet tasted the depth of His love. For God sent His Son to fulfill every law, to yield His will, to lay down His life for you, to take back the keys of hell, to rise on the third day, and to usher in the Holy Spirit.

The Call

To know Him is to be consumed by His love. It means turning your back on every desire of the flesh and every demand of the world.

Don’t lie to yourself—lies lead to ruin. Don’t follow the son of perdition. Be a faithful follower of the One and Only True King, Jesus Christ!

Is Jesus your Husband? Are you His Bride? Have you fully surrendered and submitted to your Bridegroom?

✨ Challenge of the Week

Each day, prepare your heart as a bride prepares for her bridegroom:

  • Adorn (5 min): Strip away distractions and idols. Pray, “Lord, I give You my whole heart today.” (Ezekiel 36:26)
  • Listen (10 min): Read Matthew 25:1–13 and ask, “Am I keeping my lamp filled with oil?”
  • Wait (5 min): Sit quietly before Him, like a bride waiting at the altar. Whisper His name and let His Spirit speak. (Psalm 27:14)
  • Respond (10 min): Write down one step of obedience that shows your love and surrender.

Invite a friend or spouse to do this with you for accountability. 💍

🙏 Prayer
Jesus, I love You. Teach me what it means to walk in awe and wonder every single day. Strip away the idols, the distractions, the lies of this world, and fill me with Your Spirit. Renew my mind. Sanctify my soul. Set me free again and again. May my life be nothing but Yours. Amen.
