🌱Planting Seeds of God’s Word: A Journey to Restoration🌱
God often uses powerful imagery to help us understand His truths, and one of the most meaningful comparisons in scripture is how His Word is like a seed 🌱. Just as a seed is planted into the soil with the potential to grow, to bear fruit, and to flourish, so is the Word of God when planted in our hearts. Isaiah 55:10-11 reminds us that just as rain and snow water the earth to make seeds sprout, so too does God’s Word—it never returns empty but accomplishes its purpose. In Luke 8:11-15, Jesus explains that God’s Word is like seed scattered across different soils (our hearts), and when it lands on good soil, it takes root and grows into something transformative 🌿. Whether we understand it fully or not, like the seed in Mark 4:26-29, God’s Word works mysteriously but powerfully in our lives, producing growth in due time.
Recently, God placed it on my heart to share this truth (Word of Knowledge) with a friend of mine who is struggling with addiction. God’s desire is to renew and restore not only his life but also his purpose. Just as a seed begins its journey hidden beneath the soil, my friend’s healing may start quietly, but God is at work. 1 Peter 1:23 reminds us that the Word of God is an imperishable seed 🌾, giving new and eternal life. As the parable of the mustard seed in Matthew 13:31-32 teaches, even the smallest seed of faith, when planted, can grow into something magnificent. The seeds of God’s Word—strength 💪, courage 🦁, endurance 🏃♂️, and hope ✨—are already planted, and I TRUST that they will sprout and transform his life into something fruitful and full of divine purpose. 🌳
✨A Word from the Father ✨
Son,
I have spoken my word over you now, and my words live forever. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever (Isaiah 40:8). The seeds of my words over you are the seeds of strength 💪, of courage 🦁, of endurance 🏃♂️, and of prosperity 🌱. They will sprout and grow continuously for all time. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
You are mine now, and nothing on earth will keep you from me or my love for you. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39).
Nothing. No one. No being will separate us. You are my most precious possession, and your purpose has begun. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
Don’t fear, my son, you will no longer crave the devourer—I have rebuked him for your sake. I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground (Malachi 3:11).
Glory will come because you have believed and have called upon my name. For, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved’ (Romans 10:13).
Now, rise up and stop being lowly of mind and heart! 🙏 In the coming days, you will hear me call you, and you will see my hand on your life 🖐️. Wait on me and wait with me, Son! The seeds are growing and sprouting 🌿. Water them with your prayers and your study of my Word 📖. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Remember that they never die! They are alive, and so are you with me forever. The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life (John 6:63).
