Celebrating the Journey – Finding My Passion Through Writing ✍️💖
As I sit down to write my 201st blog post, I can’t help but reflect on how this summer has been a turning point for me. For years, writing was something I longed to do, but life kept getting in the way. Between work, family, and the everyday busyness, finding the time and space to write seemed impossible. But now, by God’s grace, I’m finally doing what I love every single week. 🙏💫
This summer, I’ve had the chance to pour myself into projects that bring me so much joy—from my First Grade Reader project with Liam’s drawings to finishing my first devotional Seeking Jesus Everyday. And to top it all off, I’ve been able to adapt that devotional for a new audience, which has been a blessing beyond words. 📖💕

Achievements Worth Celebrating 🎉
- The First Grade Reader: I’ve been working on Liam’s Wacky World: First Grade Reader, and it has been one of the most rewarding creative projects yet. Watching my son’s drawings inspire stories that can help other children learn to read brings me so much pride and fulfillment. 📚
- My First Devotional: Writing Seeking Jesus Everyday has been a journey of faith and reflection, and I feel blessed to have reached this milestone. Now, seeing it come to life as a paperback and hardcover is a dream come true. 🙌📘
- Adapting for a New Audience: Turning the devotional into a version for teen boys has been a rewarding challenge, allowing me to rethink the content for a different group and ensure the message of seeking Jesus resonates with all young hearts. 💙✝️
Doing What I Love 🖋️
Writing weekly is no longer just a dream—it’s my reality. I wake up excited to put my thoughts onto paper, to share what God has placed on my heart, and to use the gift He’s given me to encourage others. There’s something incredibly freeing about being able to spend my days doing what I’m most passionate about. I no longer feel stuck or overwhelmed by the “what ifs.” Instead, I feel inspired, fulfilled, and grateful.
A Note of Thankfulness 🙏
As I celebrate these achievements, I want to take a moment to thank God for giving me the talent and the passion to write. I’m so grateful to my husband for giving me the time and space to pursue this calling, and to my family for being my biggest cheerleaders. Without their support, none of this would be possible. 💗
As I look ahead to what’s next, I can’t wait to see where this writing journey takes me. There are still so many stories to tell, lessons to share, and hearts to reach. And I pray that, in every post, every book, and every devotional, God’s love will shine through. 🌟
