Stepping out in FAITH 2/28/21

This afternoon it seemed like every technical glitch that could have arisen did just that. The nervousness of my decision built in my mind and my body. I drove to Chris’ shop to use the scanner. I printed page nine of the document, and I touched the letters, spelled out in bold black ink.

In my other hand, I held my little, green Bible that I keep in my purse. I prayed over the contract with this word of God on my heart and my mind. I asked God to take the gift that He gave me and sow it as a seed for His kingdom. I asked for the strength to give “Purposeful Day” to the hands of my publisher to bring the message of the book to the world. Praise His name, my dream has been realized. May the fruit of my work go to the Glory of His Kingdom.

May He give you the desire of your heart

and make all your plans succeed.

May we shout for joy over your victory

and lift up our banners in the name of our God.

May the Lord grant all your requests.

Psalms 20: 4-5

I am an English teacher, mother, and wife, but I love to write. I feel that I am blessed to be able to use my talent to write about my children's books, poems, short fiction, and parenting. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about my experiences with beginning a writing career while focusing on my children and my job. I look forward to comments and to hear from my readers!
