A Good Kind of Stress

Well, other than my woes as a busy mother and an exhausted teacher, it has also been a WILD seven days for my book releases. Thursday 11/5/21, A Friend for Festus was released on Amazon, and this Thursday 11/11/21, Purposful Day will be available EVERYWHERE because of Trilogy Publishing.

It’s my dream to be a published author (self published and/or traditional), but no where do I remember the NERVOUS energy buzzing through my childhood aspirations. As an adult, I “feel some kind of way” as my students would say because I have all these questions: will I ever get my financial investment back? will people like my work? will children actually want to sit down with their parents and read this together? what will my sales projections look like? what if I have bad reviews?

I find myself holding my breath in anticipation. I will keep the FAITH and HOPE that this week will be successful. ROLL RELEASE ROLL! 🙂
