The Final Stretch: Progress on📚Seeking Jesus Everyday📚Devotional

Seeking Jesus Everyday Devotional for Teen Girls by Jennifer Greene-Sullivan

The past two days have been a whirlwind of activity as I put the finishing touches on Seeking Jesus Everyday. It’s been a labor of love, and I’m both thrilled and overwhelmed to see it all come together.

First, I spent several hours proofreading the manuscript. This step was crucial, as I wanted to ensure that every word flowed seamlessly. It’s one thing to write from the heart, but making sure the message resonates clearly with my readers is essential. As I read through the devotional, I felt such a deep connection to each word. It reminded me of why I started this project in the first place— to help teenage girls deepen their relationship with Christ.

One of the highlights of the last two days was rewriting Day 27. This particular day focuses on godly friendships, which has always been close to my heart. I wanted to make sure that the message was clear, offering practical advice for young girls as they navigate their friendships. Writing this piece forced me to reflect on my own experiences and the importance of surrounding ourselves with people who uplift and encourage us in our walk with God.

Next up was tweaking both the front and back cover. These covers are vital because they serve as the first impression of the book, and I want them to convey the heart of the message in the most authentic way possible. I made a few small adjustments, balancing the visuals with the tone of the content inside. I am thrilled with how they’ve turned out and feel they perfectly reflect the essence of what Seeking Jesus Everyday represents.

Finally, after all the hard work, I handed off the completed manuscript to my Beta Reader. I trust her feedback, and I’m eagerly awaiting her thoughts. Having someone read my work with fresh eyes is always invaluable, and I know that any critiques she provides will help elevate the devotional even more.

As I sit back and reflect on the last couple of days, I’m in awe of how far this project has come. From a mere idea to now holding a nearly completed manuscript— it’s truly a God-driven journey. I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to write this devotional, and I’m praying it blesses every teen girl who picks it up. It’s not just about words on a page, but about touching hearts and pointing them to the love of Christ.

Thank you all for walking this journey with me. Stay tuned as we move closer to the final launch of Seeking Jesus Everyday— it’s just around the corner!
