💡 What does it mean to grow in Christ?
That’s the question I’ve been asking as I develop my next Bible study, Humbly Grow in Him: Leaving Pride Behind. This study is designed to help believers take a deep dive into their faith by addressing key areas of spiritual growth, like double-mindedness, pride, humility, and grace.
A Bible Study with Daily Intentionality
This isn’t just a weekly overview—it’s an intense Bible study with daily applications, prayers, and Scripture reflections to encourage participants to engage with God’s Word every day. Each week focuses on a key theme, broken into seven days, with opportunities for practical application and journaling.
A Sneak Peek into Week One: Double-Mindedness
The first week of the study explores double-mindedness, a concept that challenges us to trust God wholeheartedly. James 1:8 says, “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.” Together, we’ll examine how doubt and indecision impact our walk with Christ and learn how to develop a steadfast heart.
Here’s an example of the daily layout for Week One:
- Day 1: Theme introduction and reflection on James 1:5-8.
- Day 2: Learning to trust God completely with Proverbs 3:5-6.
- Day 3: Overcoming fear and doubt with Isaiah 41:10.
- Day 4: Seeking God’s wisdom with James 1:5.
- Day 5: Practical application—taking a step of faith guided by Psalm 119:105.
- Day 6: A day of reflection on Hebrews 10:23.
- Day 7: Wrapping up the week with Philippians 1:6.
Each day includes a key verse, a devotional thought, a practical challenge, and a prayer to guide participants through their spiritual growth.
Why This Study Matters
In a world filled with distractions, it’s easy to lose focus on God’s plans for our lives. Humbly Grow in Him is designed to help believers:
- Recognize and overcome obstacles like pride and double-mindedness.
- Develop Christlike humility.
- Embrace spiritual maturity.
- Walk out God’s grace in everyday life.
What’s Next?
I’m working on structuring the following weeks to build on Week One, diving into themes like pride, humility, maturity, and walking out grace. This study is for anyone who wants to deepen their faith and take intentional steps toward spiritual growth.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! What areas of your faith journey do you want to grow in? Let’s connect as we walk this path together.
