Thank you, Father, for the enemy has no hold on me!
by Jennifer Greene-Sullivan
This morning, the spiritual warfare was real. It hit hard, fast, and without warning.
However, less than an hour later, all was at PEACE.
Why?
Because– I used the tools my Savior gave me.
I stood firm and battled in the Spirit—for dominion over my home, my life, my body, and my mind, and then, Jesus, my Shephard, spoke to me.
“The enemy has no access to you.”
Those words hit my spirit with the weight of divine finality.
No access.
Not partial. Not seasonal.
None.
All day, I’ve been letting that truth ruminate in my spirit. And I asked the Lord,
“What does no access mean?”
Here’s what He revealed to me—five foundations of maturity that have shut the door completely to the enemy:
🔥 What “No Access” Means in the Spirit:
- Walking in Full Obedience
Not halfway. Not when it’s convenient. True obedience gives the enemy no foothold.
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” —James 4:7 (ESV)
- Living in Full Surrender
Every room in my heart—every hidden corner—belongs to Him.
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live…” —Galatians 2:20 (ESV)
- Listening Fully to the Shepherd
His voice is my compass. Not my fear. Not the world.
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” —John 10:27 (ESV)
- Praying in Full Restoration of Mind
Every lie replaced with truth. Every fear cast out by perfect love.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…” —Romans 12:2 (ESV)
- Knowing the Full Revelation of My Authority
Jesus gave it. I received it. And now I walk in it.
“I have given you authority… over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.” —Luke 10:19 (ESV)
When I stopped treating the Bible as metaphor and believed it as literal truth…
When I started living each day like the Book of Acts—with Pentecostal fire, filled with the Spirit…
The enemy lost access.
Because when the authority of Jesus is fully actualized in your and in my spirit, the enemy has nowhere left to go.
No keys.
No voice.
No entry.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit brought not only power, but peace—with an abundance of fruit and gifts.
And now?
I walk with fire in my bones and freedom in my home.
Not because of who I am—but because of whose I am. Praise the NAME of the LAMB!!
NO ACCESS.
Hell has been denied entry, and heaven has been given full dominion.
All glory to the King of Kings.🔥
📖 Bible Study: Living a “No Access” Life
- James 4:7 (ESV)
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
☑️ Submission is your spiritual shield. You can’t resist the enemy effectively without first submitting fully to God.
- Ephesians 4:27 (ESV)
“…and give no opportunity to the devil.”
☑️ No footholds. The enemy looks for unguarded spaces—bitterness, disobedience, pride. Guard the doors.
- 1 Peter 5:8–9 (ESV)
“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith…”
☑️ Awareness matters. We overcome not just by resisting, but by remaining anchored in faith and spiritual alertness.
- Luke 10:19 (ESV)
“Behold, I have given you authority… over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.”
☑️ Authority is yours. When you know it and walk in it, Satan has no legal access.
- 2 Corinthians 10:4–5 (ESV)
“For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.”
☑️ The battle is spiritual, and so is the victory. We fight with truth, surrender, and the Spirit.
🔥 Challenge: Seal Every Door
Take a spiritual inventory this week. Ask the Lord to show you any open door, cracked window, or weak spot where the enemy might be trying to gain access. Ask yourself:
- Am I walking in full obedience?
- Is there any area where I’ve delayed surrender?
- Do I truly understand the authority I carry in Jesus?
Write down any answers He reveals. Pray over them. Repent if needed. Then declare that access is denied.
🗝️ Walk boldly. Speak freely. Live guarded by His truth and glory.
🙏 Prayer: A Declaration of Dominion
Father,
I come before You today, fully submitted and fully surrendered.
Thank You for the authority You’ve given me through the blood of Jesus Christ.
Right now, in His name, I close every door the enemy has tried to enter—through fear, pride, unforgiveness, distraction, or disobedience. He has no access to my life, my home, my mind, my body, my marriage, my children, or my calling.
I declare that I am covered by the blood, filled with the Spirit, and standing on Your Word. Help me to walk in full obedience, to listen fully to Your voice, and to live from a place of surrender and victory. Let my life reflect the power of a believer who knows who I am and Whose I am.
In the mighty name of Jesus—
Amen.
