Well, I knew that it was inevitable to have a bad review for one of my books. However, I wasn’t expecting to get a bad review for it being a:
CHRISTIAN CHILDREN’S BOOK.
On Barnes and Nobles today, I read the following reviews:
Jj1998 stated that it is “too childish.” Purposeful Day is indeed childish because it is best suited for ages 0-6, which it states on the website. The book does not talk about God verbatim as Jj1998 claims. The two rocks, or the personified main characters, discuss their purpose. They are chosen to be used in architecture in their town.
However, I have clearly stated that I wrote a CHRISTIAN children’s book as well as used a CHRISTIAN publisher. So, thank you Jj1998 for recognizing what my book is and what it is meant to be. I will focus on my positive review from Johnny Franklin “shouts out to Mrs. Greene.”
As a literature teacher, I wrote an allegorical tale using personified rocks. I am proud of it. Here’s to more bad reviews! God bless you, Jj1998 from New York.
