I’m excited to share a new chapter in my writing journey: Adventures of Lee-Lee: Somebody Baptize Me! 🎉 (This title is still up in the air. I am working on it :-)This story was inspired by my son Liam’s baptism on May 21, 2023, a beautiful moment that highlighted the joy and significance of faith in our lives. 🙏💖

As a mother, witnessing Liam’s baptism was an unforgettable experience. The day was filled with love, laughter, and a sense of community, especially when Pastor Brian wore a GoPro on his head to capture the entire event while Pastor Gerald led the baptism. 🎥 It brought a modern twist to a timeless tradition and made Liam feel like a superstar. 🌟 The joy on his face, surrounded by friends and family, inspired me to write a story that captures the essence of such special moments.

📖✨Introducing Adventures of Lee-Lee: Somebody Baptize Me 📖✨

In the story adaptation, Adventures of Lee-Lee, we will follow a curious young boy as he explores the meaning of baptism through his imaginative play. Just like Liam, Lee-Lee embarks on a journey filled with excitement, questions, and ultimately, a heartfelt desire to take the plunge into faith. 💧Lee-Lee will experience a pond baptism inside of my first upside down children’s book. This upcoming story aims to resonate with young readers, encouraging them to explore their own beliefs in a fun and engaging way. 🌈

I’m thrilled to announce that Liam’s (and other members of our congregation) pond baptisms were featured in a segment on Channel 13 WMAZ (Macon, Georgia)! 📺 The segment in Sacred Spaces highlighted the importance of baptism as well as the back to basics pond baptism at our house that day in May. Liam’s story is part of the Sacred Spaces edition broadcast on May 24, 2023. 🎊 You can watch his baptism and learn more about this heartwarming experience here.
