✨ Living in God’s Perfect Victory

✨ Jesus poured out the infinite inside The Victor’s Basket

by Jennifer Greene-Sullivan

Have you ever wondered what living in God’s perfect victory actually looks like? What VICTORY feels like deep in your bones and spirit?

A couple of years ago, the Holy Spirit gave me a children’s book idea that I still carry in my heart. The title is The Victor’s Basket—a fictionalized account of the feeding of the multitude in John 6. The little boy, whose basket of loaves and fish Jesus multiplied to feed thousands, lived in complete victory in Jesus. (John 6:1-14)

He gave all that he had to the Messiah, and the Messiah granted victory over what was obediently given.

At first, I asked the Holy Spirit, “Really? You want me to fictionalize this precious story of Jesus and His disciples?” His response was simple and firm:
“Yes, I do. You will do it.”

To this day, I think of that book idea, waiting for the Lord to unfold the lessons and mysteries He wants inside of that little children’s story. The main character—the boy—seemed so overlooked in the New Testament, but the Holy Spirit has reminded me many times that this child was truly the victor in the reality.

🌿 A Word of Knowledge on Victory

Since May 25, the Lord has been stirring in my spirit the concept of victory in Him, as much as my finite mind can grasp. Today, I asked Him, “What would you have me say about my victory in Jesus?”

This is what He whispered to me:

What else could Victory in Jesus be other than living in an intimate relationship with your Bridegroom, who sings His promises and purposes over you, who invites you to live a life of abundance? (John 10:10)

🍇 The Fruit Is Ripe

Victory in Jesus isn’t just surviving—it’s thriving in Him. Victory walks in the authority He died and rose to give me. It’s knowing that I, as His faithful bride, will never die, but live in freedom, restoration, and eternity. (John 11:25) Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life!” (John 11:25) If you truly believe that His very WORD is true, how much more can the very right hand of Father God do for His beloved bride? (Ephesians 1:19-20) When do we as the bride of Christ, allow the shift of our finite minds into the renewed mind of Christ that He so much wants to purpose and to create inside of us?

🔥 Time to Break the Limits

When will we—the downtrodden, the weary, the rejected—stop putting the Master of ALL CREATION into a finite box of impossibility?

There are no limits in God, so why do we keep limiting Him with our thoughts, fears, and doubts? (Ephesians 3:20) He is the Almighty God of an infinite, boundless nature!!

🌿 Infinite (adj.) – Without limits or end; boundless; immeasurably great or extensive; limitless.

🌿 Psalm 147:5 (ESV)“Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.”

This verse beautifully captures the limitlessness of God’s wisdom and power—His infinite nature that knows no bounds. Why must you continue to pick up the very chains that Jesus died to free you from at the moment of your redemption. Stop marginalizing the Creator of the Universe!! Father, liberate our minds, open our eyes, restore our hearing so that we know Your voice!

Lord, renew our minds. Plant Your truth in our hearts so that we can fathom the victory we have in You. (Romans 12:2) So that we can put the enemy in his place—behind us in destruction—while we move forward in eternity as the flawless bride of Jesus, the Savior of the world! (Revelation 19:7-8) Jesus, remind us that Your way of supply and demand does not follow a man’s system of laws. Teach us that you came to give life and life more abundant; let us know inside our very hearts that You multiply everything that is given to You for the good of the Kingdom of Heaven.

🙏 A Prayer of Victory

Father,
Thank You for reminding me that You are the God of victory. Not just in the battles I see, but in the battles unseen. Thank You for calling me Your bride, for singing over me with joy, and for promising me life and life more abundant. (Zephaniah 3:17, John 10:10) Help me to walk in the victory You’ve already won. Break the chains of fear, doubt, and rejection. (Isaiah 61:1-3) Help me to say “yes” to Your plans, even when I’m scared. Let my life be a victory song that gives You glory.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

🌿 A Challenge for Today

Ask the Lord:

  • Where am I limiting You in my life?
  • Where am I resisting the victory You want to bring?
  • How can I give You my basket of “all that I have” so You can multiply it for Your Kingdom?

Give Him your YES today!
