The Story That Waited — Introducing Esmerelda’s Third Adventure

The third book must be the charm!

by Jennifer Greene-Sullivan

Sometimes, stories take their time.

They sit quietly in the background of your life—waiting not to be forgotten, but to be ready.

That’s exactly how it’s been with the third book in my Esmerelda series. For over a year and a half, the title and idea sat in Canva limbo—whispering from the corner of my creative world, gently nudging me when I wasn’t quite ready to dive back in.

But now… it’s time.

I’m thrilled to finally share that Esmerelda’s next adventure is on its way. 💛

This third book brings the same heart and humor that readers loved in Esmerelda’s Surprise and Attack of the Pocket Fuzz because Aloha, Esmerelda carries something deeper—something that has grown alongside me as a writer, a mama, and a woman who loves to travel.

The story, like Esmerelda herself, is bold but thoughtful. It’s rooted in family, shaped by a big heart, and built on the small (but powerful) moments that show us who we are.

I am officially revealing the title and mock cover today. For my fellow authors and artists, I just want to say this: if you’ve ever had a story that sat on the shelf of your heart for longer than you planned—don’t worry. Some of the best ones need a little extra time.

Stay tuned. Esmerelda’s next chapter is on its way. 🐚🌺🐾
And trust me—it was worth the wait.
